For the past 30 years, I have traveled to some 20 countries and have livened in, visited or driven through 40 of our states thus far, of course most of my travels were by way of the US Army in some official capacity. Now that I'm gearing up for retirement, I want to travel this great country, and experience what it has to offer. Majestic mountains, quite lakes, vast deserts, roads that lead beyond the horizon, small towns and getting to know the people who make America great. I've decided to Get Out And See America, traveling in my 1982 31' Airstream Excella, a true American icon. Today, travel in my 2019 Northern Lite 10-2 Limited Edition truck camper as my plans for rretirement are dawing near and in 2020 I will set out for an epic summer long Alaskan adventure.
I'm all about meeting interesting people and sharing their amazing stories along the way, pass along their ideas, & products. Traveling in my Rvs has afforded me many wonderful weekend trips and long vacations. GOASA!
OK, I'm a gadget freak, and I love sharing useful gear, gadgits and other items that has made my travels easy and more efficient. Many of the items I have is because someone else has shared them with me or was something discovered in my research, such as this cool solar cooker in the photo made by Go Sun. I liked the product so much that I became an Ambassador with the company, that means I have been assigned this promo code, AMBAH36, which you can use to get a 10% discount off your purchase. Be sure to check out the Products and Gadgets page.
Hi, my name is Edith Horn. I grew up in Southern California and left in 1987 after enlisting in the Army, since then I have lived in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, Arizona, Missouri, Maryland, Germany, and South Korea, just to name a few. I served in the Army traveling the world and have been to some pretty unique places. Traveling is what excites me, new places and new experiences.
As a child, I use to look up and marvel at all the airplanes flying above, guessing where all the various people might be traveling, of course adventure films such as Romancing The Stone, Radiers of The Lost Ark, and others have always sparked some excitement inside me to get away. The world is a large place and America has some wonderful hidden and not so hidden placed just waiting to be discovered. I've traveled to France, Germany, England, the Middle East, and South Korea. From the East Coast to West, Alaska to Florida Now the rest of America awaits me.
The Grand Canyon is truly amazing and as I have discovered, you just can't explore it all in a week. So I will be back, hoping to complete the Rim to Rim tour. Every waking movement of the sun changes the canyon, and I have learned that if you're not careful, you can easily snap off 700 photos or more, trust me, I know.
Here I'll share the many places I have traveled, my experiences and of course, all the wonderful people I've met along the way, click below to go to my blog page.
